Truly the all-in-one travel set for new parents/baby!
The most important aspect of a car seat is obviously its safety. Britax is known to be a quality car seat company to create safe seats for our tiniest and most valuable treasures, and this seat is no different. Its easy to look up its safety features and testing specifications, and this is a seat that I can feel comfortable about putting my baby in the car.I loved the very neutral color of the whole set, which is perfect for boys and girls, and is so useful for not just the first baby, but passing down to little siblings to come. We have always bought gender-neutral big items, as we always meant for everything to be passed down to as many kids as things can endure.The base was fairly easy to install in the car, with a strap included for using the car anchors. The strap can easily be stowed away into a little storage compartment in the base if you’d prefer to use the seat belt. Installation took no more than a few minutes. The seat then clicks into the base so quickly, or is removed with just as quick of a release button on the head of the seat, and it can be pulled right out. Once it is out of the car, it can click directly into the stroller, moving in and out of the stroller in the same manner as it does with the car base. It can face toward or away from the stroller handle, to face mama or daddy, or face outward.The stroller is relatively lightweight and is easy to maneuver. The back wheels are very large, which means it can go on a variety of terrains and do just fine. The front wheels are the 360-luggage-type wheels, so the stroller turns turns on a dime. The luggage space underneath the stroller isn’t the most spacious available, but it will definitely hold the diaper bag and possibly a cooler bag, depending on the size of both. Both bags are necessities to our travels, so they go everywhere with us. The stroller folds with one click on the handle and a push down, which is so quick and easy! It fits nicely into the back of an SUV, and can stand upright in the back of a van.The included pram seat/bassinet is just fantastic- and absolute cherry on top of a great travel set. There’s a buckle underneath the feet section, that is the first step between conversion of pram to stroller. Pulling it tight and clicking it creates the seat for the bigger baby/toddler. Then adjusting the strap behind the head of the bassinet will finish the conversion. 2 quick strap changes, takes 1 minute total. Like the car seat install, it can be faced toward the stroller handle or outward to the world.The pram aspect is just such an amazing find, as it can be very costly to get just a pram. Seeing as the price of this travel set includes the car seat, base, stroller, bassinet-toddler seat, AND the parent console + toddler snack trays, it’s a terrific value for the cost. I was honestly blown away with everything that came in the package. All the big things are absolutely fantastic, but the icing on the cake came with the parent console to attach to the stroller handle, as well as the toddler bar and snack tray. Yes, the snack tray and drink holder were a bit small, but not impossibly so. I was so impressed with the sheer thoughtfulness and total inclusion of this travel set. Truly everything a new parent needs!

Great for the price
While this is clearly a budget product, it’s a great value for the price ($400 for both a car seat AND a stroller!) It doesn’t have some high end features that I prefer in my baby gear, but I feel like it keeps my baby safe and comfortable.The car seat was easy to figure out. Note that it does NOT have a no-rethread harness. The base was easy to install. The installation is almost identical whether you use seatbelt or LATCH. We love our Britax ClickTight seat, and this StayTight was almost as convenient as that feature. My 8 month old baby has a long torso but still looks like they can get at least 2 more months of use before they grow too tall for it. Baby seems comfortable and doesn’t complain.Note that while the manual says one of two approved handle positions while driving is to put the handle in a rebound bar type position, it doesn’t actually make contact with the seat back so I question whether it can actually function as a rebound bar in the event of a crash. The car seats with rebound bars built into the base have a clear advantage on that safety front.The stroller has a great one handed fold that I LOVE. Unfolding it while holding a baby, however, is difficult. It pushes smoothly, though it gets stuck on bumps in the sidewalk that our Cruz stroller can go right over. I really dislike that there are two foot brakes that both need to be engaged for the stroller to be safely parked. I also found myself accidentally kicking one of the brakes occasionally while walking, because the handlebar is set at a fixed height so my arms are lower and my body is closer to the stroller than I’m used to being.Despite being a travel system, the stroller wheels are quite bulky and cumbersome to pack. They just barely fit into the trunk of my Chevy Bolt, not leaving room for much else. The stroller does click into the wheels well, and it was nice to be able to just pop the car seat onto the stroller when we got to our destination.The stroller seat is fine – not amazing, but my preschooler didn’t complain when I took them for a walk in it. Note that the fabric on the stroller and the car seat is NOT MACHINE WASHABLE, so cleaning would be a pain and a half.Overall I do recommend this product, especially for parents on a budget. I think any travel system is going to have compromises compared to shopping for your seat and stroller separately.

Budget Friendly Travel System
I have been using this system for about one month now and have been mostly pleased with it.Out of the box, everything was easy to assemble with basic lock in to place parts on the stroller. I appreciate easy assembly. The car seat has the Stay Tight base and built in seat belt tensioner which also made my life easy.Whether you are using the car seat with the stroller or the piece that allows you to go from bassinet mode to sit up mode without the car seat, it snaps right in. And I also appreciate that I can face my grandson toward me or looking out and it is such an easy switch. It is literally 2 buttons on the side. This makes this extremely versatile.The turning on the stroller is also very nice and moves much better than the other travel system I have for my grandson. It goes over bumps with ease. We have taken it “off roading” on gravel and it has still been a smooth enough ride for my grandson to sleep through it.There is a good amount of storage for diapers, clothes, and extras. I do think the parent organizer was lacking and did not fit well. It seemed like an afterthought.It is a nice looking system. The material is nice and the cushion in the car seat feels comfortable. It is easy to wipe clean but not machine washable.What I do not like about this stroller is that when it is time to fold it up for storage in my car, I have to remove the center piece. I wish there was a way to have it be foldable while keeping that piece in because when you are holding a baby and putting away a stroller, you want it to be simple. My other travel system literally just breaks down and folds with one center pull.This is a quality budget friendly travel system.
