Mistake –
This product did not work. I received inaccurate readings. I gave up on my first order and ordered a second thermometer assuming there couldn’t be two defective thermometers in two orders. I was wrong. This product was very poorly made.I gave up and ordered another product with a Vicks label. So far so good. Do not buy a Konquest product. My experience was abysmal.

Physically good product, 10-second claim is misleading
The feel and use is good quality. I can’t speak to accuracy, but the numbers seemed about right for how I was feeling.One important drawback – the claim that it gives you a 10-second reading is not exactly true. What it does is emit 10 very loud beeps after about 10 seconds. Sure, you can see a number at that point, but if you leave it in your mouth (or, whatever) for another two minutes you’ll get a higher, stable temperature. The tiny print instructions even tell you to do that.So the 10 seconds is a gimmick. They programmed it to beep prematurely, but it is meaningless. Your real temperature takes 2 minutes, just like any other thermometer of its class.
