Very comfortable
We bought this for our grandson. We put him in it to set up the height and get the straps right. He was all smiles and seemed to really like. Grandma, Mom, and Auntie are all on their way to Florida with him now. I’ll update my review when they get back. It’s very soft and definitely will hold him in place As, with most car seats they’re parent proof when it comes to installing them. It was difficult but obviously not impossible. So far I highly recommend this car seat. As I said I’ll come back for an update.Back for an update. We all feel very confident in the quality of this seat. It seems as though he’d be very protected in the unfortunate event of an accident. Hopefully we’ll never have to find out. He was very comfortable in the seat from NY to Fla and back. He fussed as all babies do but was comfortable none the less. Our experience thus far has been excellent. The seat is of very good quality and again we are confident of his safety while in the car. Highly recommend.

Awesome car seat!
Love the size, it looks comfortable. I like everything that comes with it, specially the foot stand able to raise up and down. Worth the price, easy to adjust, rear facing, everything works and functional. Most of all very sturdy. This mom is at ease driving long trips.

Arrived in Questionable Condition…
The car seat itself seems great. We needed an updated one for our 17 month old daughter and this fit the bill. We loved the fact it can be used up to 100 pounds – which will be quite some time since she is still very little. I liked the extra leg room and side crash safety tested. It seems very comfortable. Easy to install.I was a little frustrated at how it arrived. It was in a plain brown box, not wrapped in plastic – just thrown in. There were a couple pills on the fabric of the headrest (which we don’t need anyway) and a small stain on the fabric of the upper part of car seat itself and the plastic parts seem slightly scuffed. Could it be from manufacturing or the lack of protection during transit? I suppose so. But for something that is rather expensive, I would have expected better packaging. It also leads me to question whether it was a return being sold as new. Either way, for a company such as Safety 1st, it was subpar.

So far so good
We just got ours and it took a few minutes to figure out how everything worked, especially with our daughter wanting to be in it as soon as we pulled it out. The cup holders are easy to remove and can be on either side. Moving between level positions is a bit hard as the seat doesn’t easily transition from 3 to 2. Installation was both easy and hard. Our daughter is still rear facing and we like using the latch system over a seat belt. Setting up the latches is super easy, tightening is hard. You want to put your hand right were the strap goes. I ended up moving the fabric out of the way as best I could so I could see where my hand could go to apply pressure. Overall I’m impressed. Love the strap pads and foot rest. There is loads of padding including the buckle. No more buckle burns when it gets hot.

Excellent seat will many amenities you see in 300+ seats. Buy this you will be happy you did.
Wow! I am over the moon on this purchase. The step is amazing and will come in handy later. It has the easiest belt adjustments. It is soft and the seat is made with a really thick foam. I have three local grand kids that will really enjoy the cup and the snack holder. I really a very excellent seat that last until 100 lbs.
