I ordered this extra large, 90.5″×90.5″ square splash pad for the kids because I needed something that says “fun outdoor activity” but really means “please go entertain yourselves for a while.” For around $20, this thing is honestly a steal.First off, it’s BIG. Like actually big, not that “technically large but somehow still cramped” nonsense. All 3 of my kids can pile on it without immediately turning it into a WWE match for space.The material is thicker than I expected, which I appreciate because kids treat everything like it’s indestructible. It doesn’t feel flimsy or like it’s going to tear the second someone looks at it wrong. Definitely a step up from the cheaper, sad little splash pads we’ve had before.Inside has a non-slip surface, which is huge because this is a splash pad, not a hospital bill waiting to happen. They can run around, sit, flop dramatically, whatever, and they’re not sliding all over like baby penguins.Now the best part, the spray ring. Yes, you can control the height of the water by adjusting your hose like usual, but you can also angle the sprays. This is apparently VERY important to children. Mine prefer to aim it upward and sit in the middle like they’re in their own personal rainstorm instead of getting blasted directly in the face like tiny, offended raccoons.Setup was easy. Hooked right up to the hose, and done. No complicated nonsense, no instructions that read like a foreign language.Color is a nice bright blue, looks clean, looks summery, and most importantly, it keeps them outside and occupied.Overall, it’s sturdy, easy, and actually worth the money. This will definitely last through the summer, and honestly probably longer unless my kids decide to test its limits like it owes them money.Highly recommend if you enjoy peace and quiet… or at least a slightly reduced level of chaos.

Wide pad spray holds low
Hose threads in with a short turn, gasket settles without cross-threading, then water starts to push around the ring. Edge lifts slightly as pressure builds, jets rise in a clean arc once the valve is opened a bit more. Dialing the faucet down drops the height quickly, keeping it usable for younger kids without splashing over the sides. Surface texture grips bare feet better than expected, less sliding when stepping in and out. Even spray distribution runs evenly around the ring, no dead spots near corners, and flow stays consistent when pressure shifts. PVC feels thicker along the rim, holds shape while the center pools shallow water instead of folding inward. Quick drain after shutting off, a light tilt clears most of it before carrying. One note early on, a faint factory smell shows up out of the box, fades after airing outside for a day. Folds flat with a couple presses along the edge, slides back into storage without fighting the corners.
