We got the Shinepool Splash Pad Sprinkler for Kids & Dog for our dog. He is a 80 lb WGSD rescue who is afraid of water. With all the flooding rain we have had he always muddy and needs to rinse off. We can turn this on low and water level is only a couple inches deep when the bottom is full. It is big enough to let us throw some treats in the middle that he has to go in to get them. The splash pad is heavy duty and comes with a patch kit just in case you need it. So far we have not even with our dogs claws. We do keep them trimmed and he moves slow with being unsure of the water. We don’t turn the sprinklers up more then about about a foot high when hes in it although we plan on upping it little by little to help him get used to water better. I also hope to use this as an outdoor bathmat for giving him a bath.The reason I have removed a star is the one we received does not spray into the middle like it shows in the photos even when we turn up all the way. Some spray out into the yard and a couple of the holes don’t spray at all. Also remember that the spray height adjust by your hose. If your kids are going to be playing in it for hours your water is going to be running for hours.I still highly recommend this for some nice summer fun. I plan on even using it to cool down my feet when taking a break working outside.
