18 Month Old Grandson Loved It
It’s so hard to buy gifts for grandkids and I was looking for something out of the ordinary. This fit the bill! It’s a very simple item but it keeps my grandson busy. He has to have a steady hand to line up the magnet with the worm and then the worm with the hole but he loves the challenge – he picked it up pretty quickly and now he’s a pro. I recommend for hand/eye coordination.

Nice but pay attention to age range
My 1 year old loves this thing. One of his favorite Christmas gifts. It’s light, fun, and great quality. Pay attention to the age range, because if your kid is still in the stage of putting everything in their mouth be very mindful, the worm pieces are little and can fit completely in their mouth.

Great learning and coordination toy
Besides this toy being sooo cute, I loved the colors of the toy. They are bright and vibrant.It is a woodpecker. The worm has a magnet attached and the bird uses the worm to feed the other. This is great for hand/eye coordination. I bought this as a gift for my grandson. I know he will love it!

Excellent game for a 2 year old
My 2 year old son loved this! The first time I gave it to him it entertained him for a solid half hour. It was staggering! My chomping noises every time the worm dropped into the birds mouth may have helped :)This toy is great for hand eye coordination-the worms are relatively easy to catch with the magnets, with just enough leeway that it was not too easy for him. I love the different colors, so I could say, “the birdie is hungry for a green worm!” Or, “the birdie wants to eat a blue worm!” This would make him detach any other color he picked up while I was talking to make sure he found a worm of the right color. Really nice way to practice colors! It would probably be easy to paint the worms different colors as well-as it stands, there are 2 of each color, so painting half of them could open up more colors to practice with that are missing. I also love the little opening in the top that the worms can be stored in to keep it together.Simple but great toy that keeps my son entertained whenever we get it out!

Great for fine motor skills!
My son loves playing with this. He tried to grab the worms with his fingers but they are too deep so he needs to use the tool which is good. He almost a year and is getting there with his dexterity but still struggles a bit to get the tool to grab the worms. A nice addition would be to have a cap to close the top once the worms are in.

Educational toy

Absolutely love this Montessori toy. My almost 2 year old didn’t quick understand to use it initially but once she got the hang of it, it was uphill from there. It keeps your child occupied for at least 20 minutes, which is amazing for a toy without the lights and sounds. If you’re promoting a Montessori style approach in your home, buy this toy! It teaches hand eye coordination, patience, precision and more! I love how focused my child gets when playing with this. The product itself is made of great quality considering it’s been tossed and thrown around multiple times and has yet to even have a little scrape or crack on it!
