Great purchase for a screen free kid!
We took this toy on our recent trip to Japan and my 12 month old loved it! We’re a screen free family and this toy is a win!!It’s very functional and well designed, it makes him really use his fine motors, and the apple itself is a perfect size and fits in his little hands perfectly.It’s a great restaurant toy too!It’s weighted b it not too heavy at all, it just feels like a good quality toy. I do feel that because of the string, it’s the kind of toy that should be played with under pera tal supervision.

My 6 month old grandson enjoys this. At this stage, I’m poking the caterpillar into the hole and he grasps it and pulls it through. We will get a lot of use out of this as he develops visual perception skills and hand-eye coordination.

Perfect for Fine Motor Skills!
I’m a special education teacher with two master’s degrees and a certification in early childhood education, and this toy is perfect for fine motor skills! I didn’t get a picture of it because I gave it as a gift to my niece, but it was a fan favorite with all the kids! Do you know one of the skills toddlers need to learn is to lace a string through a hole? This is a toy that is inviting and easy to use. It is also helpful that it is attached! I’ve had toys that are just strings and wooden blocks, and they always end up all over the ground or go missing. This is all together and will not make a mess in your home!
