Great product. Don’t dishwash
This has been a really great development for my family; It’s nice to portion food out for my toddler and have less food littered around his high chair. Plus the food can cool off faster than when it was just going in a bowl. I was worried about all the “it doesn’t suction at all!” reviews, but it’s been great. Like most things suction, it’s not glued to the surface it goes on–eventually comes loose, doesn’t suction to surfaces that aren’t airtight (wood, or plastic with scratches in it), and toddler lifts it up to figure it out. Regardless, it’s still better than just a regular plastic plate that moves all over the place. (Even un-suctioned, the rubber makes it slip resistant.)If the suction is high priority for you, I wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher. It has made the suction areas curl a little bit; it still suctions but maybe not as well or as long.Generally always happy with Munchkin products and this one was no exception.

suction probably needs a perfectly smooth surface
Plenty of room for the food a toddler eats. I don’t put it in the dishwasher so it’s a little tricky to get the corners clean. It doesn’t stick to the tray/table for long. That may be because the tray/table isn’t perfectly smooth. I’ve not had a problem with my kids, work kids or grandkid tossing their plate/bowl so that’s not a big issue for me.

These are great!
I actually love these plates and I think my little one does too. I like how it’s divided into sections it helps him scoop up his food better bc of the little walls. Before I was just using a bamboo plate that had no sectioning which I love that plate bc the suction is so good but overall I still like these better. The suction on these plates are less powerful I must say but I don’t really have a problem with it. Sometimes it loses suction while he is eating but sometimes it stays on the whole meal. And if I do noticed it’s not suctioned I just press it down and it stays put. Only a couple times has he managed to rip the plate off and the whole plate go flying in his face 🤣 Usually when he is trying to pick up the plate that means he is done so it’s not such a big deal if his food goes everywhere.

Make life easier.
Just as i said for the title make life easy. We bought these when we first started doing solids in a high chair and we still use them at the table. The suction cup make it easy to stay in place which helped our kiddo be able to grab things off the plate instead of chasing them across the tray of his high chair.Super quick and easy to rinse off to get clean, we even run ours through the dishwasher and have had no issues.The deeper pockets make it easy for when they start using silverware as the walls help them get the food on their fork or spoon.Quality piece that makes any meal much easier.

Suctions to perfectly smooth surfaces only
I purchased these to match our baby’s other feeding items (Munchkin bowls and spoons) and to avoid silicone plates since I heard they make the food taste odd. I like the quality of material, the bright colors, and that they’re easy to clean. However, it does not suction to the highchair tray… which is also Munchkin brand! Why??? The tray is slightly textured, not perfectly smooth. It does suction to our smooth wood table, so if that’s how you’re planing to use it (or if your high chair tray has zero texture), then I’d recommend. Otherwise, the baby will surely be whipping this plate across the room!

There are plenty of reviews, if this one is helpful please rate it as such.Summary: Great plates. They won’t stick to ALL surfaces, but *most* and a great plate.Pros:+ Great size for baby or toddler.+ Shallow lip helps keep food on the plate and easier to scoop up for hands/spoons.+ Suction to my Quarts countertop+ Price is good for set of two in gender neutral colors.Cons:- I have a wooden table with a lot of cracks between the wood. It won’t stick to that, but it would be asking a lot of it to.- I don’t like to dishwasher these things with the silicone on the bottom. So I hand wash them even if they are ok to go in the dishwasher. I just don’t want the suction to wear out.- Not scratch resistant, but who cares? It’s for babies and toddlers who will scratch everything.
