Scenario: suitable for families, kindergartens, early education centers, nurseries, parent-child kindergartens and other early education and parenting institutions, to train children’s hand-eye coordination ability, while practicing accurate hand movements and developing hand, wrist and finger control — also known as “fine hand movements”. By using these materials over and over again, the child learns the feeling of success when he reaches a goal on his own.
One toy, many ways to play:Box w/ Bins,Object Permanence Box,Imbucare Box w/ Wood Ball And Woolen Ball,Infant Coin Box,Imbucare Box w/ Wood Triangle Prism.
This is a beautifully made box with three colorful boxes inside. Place the corresponding color of wooden ball and plush ball (yellow), wooden triangular body (red), and three wooden coins (blue).
This material develops hand-eye coordination and indirectly allows the child to experience object permanence. It practises precise hand movements while sending information to the brain as well as develops hand, wrist and finger control – also known as “refined hand movements”.
Sensory aids for 0 to 3 years old can exercise children’s hand-eye coordination through simple movements. The diameter of the Woolen ball is larger than that of the round hole. During the process of putting the hole, it is necessary to squeeze the ball with fingers to exercise the flexibility and strength of the baby’s fingers to achieve better educational significance of teaching aids.
The toys can be used in any educational environment from a Montessori Kindergarten class to Home Schooling for early learning development. For any Montessori classroom and home school, this is a good tool for general sensory teaching.

Good but could easily have been better
Works exactly as described. But after receiving it I realized the edges and corners were a bit sharp for my liking. Could have used a bit of sanding to round them over more for better safety. Also (my own thing), I wish they’d have put them in rainbow order to help teach color order.

Serious choking hazard
I ordered this product because I like Montessori toys and it is advertised as an infant and toddler toy suitable from 6 months old. The pieces seemed big enough for me to not be hazard objects, but obviously I’m not an expert. Today mi 8 months old baby was playing with it and I was next to him picking up some toys. Suddenly he started doing very low but abnormal sounds and I turned around and he was vomiting and seemed like he was chocking. I originally thought he was chocking with the vomit but I put my fingers in his mouth and found the blue disk pretty much back at his mouth. Luckily I was there and I realized immediately what was going on but I just cannot stop thinking what would have happened if I had left the room for a couple of minutes to do something and didn’t listened to him. Definitely don’t buy this for a baby or toddler younger than 2 years old.

Do not follow manufacture’s recommendation for age.
This product is confusing. There is a warning stated not for children under 3, but then recommended age is 6 months plus. We ordered this for our baby who is 8 months old and he choked on the blue discs. We were thankfully sitting with him when it happened. This product is definitely a choking hazard. It is very well made, but the blue discs are way to small.

Not self correcting
The coins fit into all of the holes so it is not self correcting. It defeats the purpose to have a shape sorter when the object fits into all of the holes. Keeps my daughter entertained and she’s thrown it on the ground many times without it breaking so it is well made.
