Sturdy, easy to use and clean!
Love this thing for my grandbubba. He’s been using it since about 10 months because he never liked a bottle, and I’m amazed how easy it was for him to figure out. Super sturdy, eat to clean, great purchase.

Great, safe option for straw training!!
We love these! Great for straw training, they do leak out the liquid left in the straw but it’s so little that it rarely affects anything at all. Less expensive here than at target where we got the first one. All my mom friends use these now and love them. The coral is also more orange than pink. Think close to traffic cone but that’s what we wanted l.

Amazing cups for little ones!
My granddaughter absolutely loves these cups! I love that the straw moves with the liquid making it so much easier for her to use even when playing. They don’t leak either and that is a huge plus. She is almost 1 and these are perfect for her little hands! I purchased a few of these for her and would definitely recommend them! Super happy with these cups!

Baby Loves It, But Some Downsides
My baby absolutely loves the Dr. Brown’s Milestones Baby’s First Straw Cup! It was an easy transition from a bottle, and the soft silicone straw is gentle on gums and great for little hands learning how to sip. The handles are perfectly sized, and my baby took to it right away — it quickly became our go-to cup for water and milk. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. It does tend to leak if it tips over or is shaken (which, let’s be honest, happens constantly with a baby). Also, the silicone straw stains pretty easily — especially if your baby eats or drinks anything with color (like purees or juice). Even after thorough washing, the straw holds onto some of those stains.Despite those minor issues, we still use it daily because of how much our baby enjoys it. Just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a leak-proof or stain-resistant option. Overall, a great starter straw cup!

Our favorite!
We love these cups. They’re the only ones my baby can drink from and not struggle with. The area around the straw holds a lot of liquid so if that’s not completely dried out it will leak. But the cup itself doesn’t leak. My baby can easily hold on to the handles and it’s the perfect size for her! We have quite a few of these cups!

Straw is very hard to clean, but the cup is good quality!
The straw is hard to clean. Also, as first time parents, we thought this was the next step after bottle…we should have tried to get her the soft nipple transition cup before trying the straw.

Durable, Easy to Clean & Great for Training
Very helpful training cup for my baby. It’s colorful, durable, and easy for little hands to hold. The weighted straw works well, and I like that every part can be taken apart for thorough cleaning. A great starter cup for learning to drink independently.

Great cup with thoughtful design, some minor drawbacks
My baby likes these cups the most out of all we’ve tried. I love the weighted straw — unlike other cups that require tilting or special manipulation, my baby can drink it dry easily. The handles are easy for little hands to hold, though they can get in the way when placing the cup in a stroller holder or packing multiple cups in a lunchbox. I wish the handles could clip on from the outside so I could slip it on without removing the lid entirely. It does leak slightly when filled with milk after extended use. I ended up buying replacement cups since mine started leaking more, and unfortunately, replacement parts are more expensive than buying a whole new cup.Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed cup that works really well for teaching independent drinking, but the minor leakage and handle design could use improvement.

I bought the Dr. Brown’s straw cup for my baby, and honestly I have mixed feelings. The quality is really good and it is almost completely leak-proof, which I like a lot because it doesn’t make a mess. But the biggest issue is that the straw is quite hard to suck. My baby struggles to get the liquid out and sometimes gets frustrated. I also noticed that if the parts are not assembled properly, the milk or water doesn’t come through at all. It’s a good cup for spill control and learning, but not the easiest for babies who are just starting with straws. I feel it would work better for slightly older babies who can suck a bit stronger.Overall, it’s okay, but I wish the flow was easier.
