My daughter is autistic, she loves puzzles & musical toys, so this was a dream come true! A combination of both! She loves it & plays with it all the time. It is sturdy & I haven’t had any issues with it. I am happy with my purchase & would recommend this toy.

Doesn’t work all the time
Works every now and then but not like other puzzles similar. Already returned once so I’m stuck with it. Shocked since this is a M&D toy.

I purchased this item for my daughter for Christmas. It does not work & Melissa & Doug would not send a replacement. They basically told me I do not know how to use it & did not have adequate lighting. We have other M&D puzzles that work fine. Disappointed

Beautifully made puzzle! Sturdy and thick wood. Love the fact that when you pick up each piece, the appropriate nursery rhyme plays from start to finish. Nice touch. Does NOT come with batteries. Two AAA required. Easy enough to install. There is also an “off” switch on the back. Nicely done.

NO OFF BUTTON
I’d give this a 5 except there is no off button!!! This thing randomly goes off in my car and is so embarrassing to take with you anywhere (since I am a therapist on the go.) I also have wish it was like the other sound puzzles where the sound happens when you put the piece IN not when you take it out. That being said though, my clients that like nursery rhymes really like this puzzle, i just wish it wasn’t at my expense.

Good product, really engaging for the kids.The child learns rhymes, the sounds associated with the rhyme and also shapes at the same time.The pegs fit in place only one way so the child learn the importance of doing things correctly and the parent should sing along with the board, it encourages the child to speak, sing and learn.In all, an excellent learning experience and good craftsmanship, all wooden and firmly pasted vinyl is durable.5 stars

I bought this for my grandson and he loves playing with it. It is durable fun and engaging for him to use is and plays again and again. But more importantly he has learned to identify and also learn each of the animals names and sounds. Wonderful.
