Nice wooden puzzle
I really like Melissa and Dougs products and the sound puzzles, I just wish the animal one was a bit more realistic. I realize there were other choices, so that is on me! My granddaughter seems to like it and has played with it a few times since Christmas. I will say the two pack was a great price!

Ease of Use
Love this concept! Very fun with small kids, but the sound starts going off if the correct piece is waved over the puzzle hole (they don’t have to put the piece in place.) Also, the sound continues for a long time and doesn’t change to the next sound even if a new piece is placed until it’s finished playing the first sound.

Stopped working
Product worked two times then stopped and I even put brand new batteries in it! Both puzzles sound will not work!

I’m generally not fond of electronic sound making toys but Melissa and Doug never let you down! The realistic sounds have allowed my grandson to make associations and now that he can make his own sounds he is not that fussed if the puzzle has the sound turned on. All the way through he learnt shape recognition too!Both puzzles are very engaging.
