Old school thermometer 🌡
Needed a new thermometer when mine broke when everyone in the house got sick at once!! I decided I wanted to buy a new type thermometer that doesn’t require you to touch the patient but I also wanted an old school backup, as those normally last years without issues. I just didn’t want to spend an outrageous amount, since I was buying both types and I came across this gem.I love the design of this one. The large screen is easy to read. Its made sturdy yet the tip is that flexible silicone, which I love!! Super easy to use, just like the ones we grew up with. It reads your temp fast!! Much much faster than previous gens. Its small, so i can just pop it in my meds cabinet no problem and now I have a reliable one just in case the newer type I bought breaks again!! The price of this one was great in comparison to other. It arrived like next day!! Its lightweigh. Sure the battery will last forever too given its size! So very pleased with purchase and would recommend! Hope this helps if you had questions about it!!

Great investment
This was the most accurate thermometer I’ve ever had. It helped me with getting through my fever and providing accurate readings of my body temperature. If you don’t have it, I will get it. It is very easy to use the battery. Life is very long lasting. It’s easy to clean. And the durability of it is top-tier along with the versatility. Wow being sold for an affordable price.

Low cost and confidence
I picked this up because it was only $2.99 at the time, but it feels cheap, and it looks cheap.The first thing I noticed was the beep. It’s extremely quiet. If you’re used to older thermometers, you expect that clear, loud beep when it turns on. This one is so low that it makes you question whether it’s even working or if the battery might be dying. What I found frustrating is that it doesn’t beep when it finishes reading.The description details claim you’ll get an accurate reading in about 8 seconds on the Quick Mode setting, but that wasn’t my experience. The numbers fluctuated for around 10 seconds before settling, so it didn’t feel quick or especially reliable.Build quality is another issue. The metal tip is more flexible than I’d like, to the point where it feels like it could wear out or stop working properly over time. It reminds me of those phone chargers that only work if you bend them in a certain way.They tried to make the display large and easy to read, which is helpful for visibility. But the screen itself feels too soft and spongy. It almost feels like the display could easily be or cause the numbers to distort over time.There’s also a small design flaw with the battery cover screw. There is a slight rise in the screw instead of it fitting flush, which makes the whole thing feel unfinished. The screw should fit snugly into the recess.I’d rather spend a few extra dollars on a thermometer that feels sturdier and more dependable. The “professional accuracy” claim doesn’t match the quality here.

I really like this thermometer. It’s accurate, more accurate than the ones that you do on your forehead and stuff. I’m so glad I found this. It’s been hard to find a real good thermometer. I’m so pleased with this. It’s worth buying.
