How to get an accurate reading in 10s?
1. Please read the product manual carefully.
2. Start Measuring when You See “Lo℉”.
3. Pay attention not to touch the probe with your hands or other objects with high temperature Before taking your temperature.
Why are the temperature readings inconsistent?
If you measure directly after powering up, the measurement results are inaccurate and the measurement time is up to 30 seconds or more. Be sure to start measuring when you see “Lo℉”.
How do I replace the battery?
1. Gently pull the battery cover off by hand at the top of the thermometer.
2. Place a fresh 1.55 V button cell battery of SR41, UCC392, or LR41 or equivalent into the battery compartment with the positive terminal on.
How to switch between °C and °F?
During off status, Press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds, and when you hear the “Bi”, immediately press the button again.
Is the thermometer waterproof?
Yes. Please note that only the tip of the thermometer (the measuring part) is waterproof.

Not accurate at all.
I purchased this thermometer to keep on hand as a backup, since we have children at home. Last night, I felt that my child’s temperature was elevated, so I used the thermometer to check it. Although I could clearly tell by touch that the temperature was high, the device returned a “normal” reading. I tried several times, and the results were consistently the same; consequently, I assumed my child didn’t have a fever. However, this morning I still felt that my child’s temperature was high—and their overall condition was quite poor. I checked their temperature twice more, yet the readings remained normal. Finally, I decided to try using an air-conditioning thermometer (the kind I use for work) to check my child’s temperature; it showed a reading of 103°F. I immediately took my child to see a doctor. The margin of error on this thermometer exceeds 5°F—a safety hazard for any household with children. I strongly urge everyone not to buy this product.
