1. How do I update the firmware for the monitor and camera?
For first use, update the firmware to the latest version:
-Camera: Connect to the eufy Baby app, then go to Me > My Devices > Settings > About Device > Firmware Update.
-Monitor: On the screen, go to Monitor Settings > About Device > Firmware Update.
2. What situations are suitable for using the battery-powered camera?
The camera works great whether plugged in or running on its 5,000mAh built-in battery, ensuring seamless use during trips or power outages. When using battery power, you can expect about 9 hours of use and around 5.5 hours with night vision.
3. What detection features does the camera have?
The camera features cry detection, loud noise detection, and temperature monitoring. You can adjust the sensitivity for cry and noise detection with five different levels and set the push notification intervals to avoid frequent disturbances.
4. What does the Wi-Fi switch do on the camera?
The Wi-Fi switch is there to protect your privacy and security. When it’s turned on, the camera connects to your router, letting you view the livestream on the app. If you turn it off, the camera will only connect to the monitor.
5. How does Smart Connect work?
Smart Connect is enabled by default. When the camera’s Wi-Fi switch is on and it’s connected to Wi-Fi, your device automatically switches between Wi-Fi and local connection for optimal streaming. To disable it, turn off the camera’s Wi-Fi.

I bought the eufy Security Baby Monitor E20 for monitoring my little one at night, and it’s been excellent so far. The 2K camera provides a crisp, clear image, and the 5″ display is easy to see from across the room. Setup was quick, and I love that it works both with Wi‑Fi or without Wi‑Fi — the connection stayed solid even without linking to my phone.The night vision is impressive, and the sound quality is clear enough to hear movement or fussing. Great product.
Absolutely love this system. I love that it can be used at home with the monitor screen or accessed from my phone. It allows both a babysitter and me/my husband to use it at the same time and it works great. Also had to reach out to customer service for a minor cosmetic issue and their service is top notch. Would highly recommend.

Don’t waste your money.
Do not waste your money. I saw negative reviews but purchased anyways just hoping the bad reviews were user error. I wanted to love this camera so much and I was so hopeful it would be the one we keep because the clarity of the camera is so good. All this thing does is disconnect and buffer. If it’s not disconnected (shown in picture) it’s buffering and trying to catch up. Such a bummer but we are sending back. I would not trust this camera to work properly through the night if you are sleeping in separate rooms from baby.

Great camera with some delays
Really good quality camera that is easy to set up and hooks into the rest of our eufy ecosystem. I like the sound only option and the alerts. And I LOVE that it can use WiFi but doesn’t have to – so convenient and stable. Also bought the dock separately which I think should be included…I have as 4 stars because the delay is pretty annoying and too much sometimes.

Sad with the intent of the company
I am super frustrated. This camera does not work without a sd card but they don’t provide, what is that meant? I have to buy the sd card separately . Thats not good ideas they should have include the sd card as well. Its not something we have spare in home. I excepted the accessory to attach the camera with crib provided in the box . Who wants to drill their wall just for this? That also i need to buy separately. The software update takes more than 10 mins , insane!! I am just waiting to finish and they gave me opportunity to write this bad review. I think it took more than 10 mins. App is very slow as well, its lag a lot. I dont how this product got good reviews

Must have item if you have a baby!
Works like a charm, top quality, stable video feed even on different floors if you live in a big house. Monitor display is great, and best thing is everything can work on with no wifi or power with built-in batteries. Definitely recommend it!
