Best alternative to a kiddie pool!!
This large splash pad is spacious enough to accommodate a chair or a couple of people. It’s perfect for kids, adults, and pets to cool off this summer. Unfortunately, we moved and had to leave our swim spa behind, so instead of a kiddie pool that requires constant cleaning leaving a flooded backyard, I opted for this splash ring. The best part is the non-slip feature, which gives us peace of mind as we’re a bit unsteady. I believe our dog will also enjoy cooling off in it this summer. Overall, it’s a great purchase!

Kept My Kids And The Dog Cool All Summer Afternoon
I picked this up for backyard summer fun since my kids love water play and my golden doodle gets overheated on hot days. I have been using it two or three times a week for about a month, usually in the afternoons when the sun is strongest.Setup is fast. Spread it on the grass, hook up the garden hose, turn the water on, and it starts spraying within seconds. The hose connector is a standard fit that worked with my regular backyard hose.The sprinkler pattern sprays from all sides, which means the kids can run around the whole mat instead of just one side. The spray height is just right for a 4 year old and a 7 year old, tall enough to feel like a real sprinkler, not so forceful that it scares them.The non slip surface has held up well. My kids run and slide on it without wiping out, and my dog has not had any scary slips either. He actually lies down in the middle of it on really hot days.The 0.5mm thickness feels more substantial than other splash pads I have used before. It has not punctured or torn even with the dog’s nails and the kids diving onto it.When we are done, it folds up small and I hang it over the fence to dry before folding it for storage. It takes up almost no space in the garage.One honest note. The water pressure from my hose determines the spray height, so on days when the city pressure is lower, the spray drops too. Not a problem with the pad itself, just something to know.Good pick for families with kids, pets, or both who want an easy way to cool off in the yard without setting up a full pool.

Perfect for backyard days
We set this splash pad up in the backyard. The kids had been stuck inside most of the morning and were already asking to play with water, so this felt like an easy way to get them outside. Setup didn’t take long at all. I laid it flat on the grass and connected the hose, and within a minute the edges started spraying small streams of water around the mat. The kids ran straight through it before I even finished adjusting the water pressure. After a few minutes they were jumping, sliding, and running around the circle of water like it was their own little backyard water park.After using it several times now, it’s turned into one of those things we bring out whenever the weather gets hot. The material feels thicker than I expected when it first arrived, and it’s held up well even with kids stomping and running across it. The surface doesn’t feel overly slippery when it’s wet, which helps when everyone gets excited and starts moving fast. Our dog usually wanders over and starts chasing the water sprays, which somehow makes the whole thing even funnier to watch. When everyone finishes playing, we just turn off the hose, let the water drain out, and fold it up to store in the garage. It doesn’t take up much space at all. For something simple, it’s been a fun way to cool off and keep the kids active outside for a while

As the weather has gotten warmer, I laid out this wading mat in the backyard. After connecting the hose and turning on the water, it only takes a short while for the small nozzles around it to start spraying water, creating a ring of jets like a mini fountain. The kids immediately rush over to splash and run around as soon as they see the water.The material feels thick and sturdy, much more durable than the thinner wading mats I’ve bought before. My kids can run and jump on it without feeling like it would easily tear. The bottom surface isn’t slippery either, so my kids feel safe walking on it even with wet feet. Sometimes I turn the water flow down a bit to make the jets gentler, and then my kids sit on it and play in the water.It’s also very easy to clean up afterward. Just turn off the water and let it drain, wipe it down a bit, fold it up, and it’s easy to store in the storage box it doesn’t take up much space.
