Great for babies who are hesitant about water
My brand new 2 year old is extremely cautious about water and even gentle splash pads were a little too much for her to really enjoy. However, she does like touching a little bit water and splashing some toys in water. This sprinkler is PERFECT for her. She loves the colorful worms and the water stream can be turned down low enough so she can sit and run her hands through the water, place a toy or two on top of the worms, etc. The water stream can go higher than depicted, but this is just perfect for us.

This is a really cute sprinkler. The little worms dance around while the water shoots out. Bright colors. I gave it a 4 stars because it is made out of a different quality plastic. I don’t want to say “cheap” because it didn’t break or anything. It’s not made of high quality plastic. LOL

Tough little sprinkler that has lasted for YEARS!
I bought this when my kids were 2 and 4. They’re now 9 and 11 and still like to play in it when it’s hot outside! It’s made out of a nice, thick, rubbery plastic (think the bottom of a rubber duck) that stands up to be picked up and dropped on concrete by toddlers. The worm guys are adorable and slightly flexible so if they fall on it, it doesn’t hurt them. It grows with them, too, because when they’re really little you just turn the water on a little bit and it gently sprinkles out and when they’re older, you can turn the water on full blast and it really sprays up in the air. Good water flow, super durable and simple, so there aren’t a lot of parts that can break or crack. Has held up to many Houston and Georgia summers! Highly recommend!

The holes in the worms are very large which means you need a ton of water pressure. With our hose open all the way, the water goes maybe 6 inches up only.

This sweet little sprinkler toy is just right for young toddlers, ~12-24 months, who want to explore water play but aren’t quite ready for a sprinkler that changes its spray unpredictably or wilder options. My little guys (~18 mos) love it!

Great for Smaller Kiddos with Water Anxieties
Melissa & Doug products haven’t failed me yet and I can add this item to the list of their toys that my toddler truly enjoys!First of all, I was able to get this for about $10 before the price went back up–wow! I had to wait for it come back in stock, but it was shipped to me as soon as it became available. I saw a lot or reviews about the water not spraying very high or people debating their home water pressure. This actually encouraged me to purchase because my little 3-foot little one is still a little anxious around spraying water and the highest streams went right over his shoulder, but not over his head–perfect! The worms have some flexibility, so we were able to play around with aiming the water to add some fun for the whole family.The hose I purchased separately fit perfectly into the sprinkler without any issues. Another thing I love is that this product dries very well. We turned it upside down, spout downward and it was completely free of water before the next day. I really wish I’d bought two of these before the price went back up, but I’m so so glad we got this great product at such a great deal! Little guy loves it, so this Mama is happy 🙂

Ive bought 2 of these now – 1 for us an 1 for gift. My favourite thing is that the worms bend down when little kids fall onto it. We had some full body tumbles and occasional stepping right on it. Not soft material, but no danger of poking holes in the kids either. And no complicated assembly! Just thread onto garden hose, turn on water, and adjust water pressure for desired height. The worms dont move back and forth like some sprinklers, but we liked this because we set it up to overlap with a small inflatable pool. At one point one of the worms wasnt spraying as kids had clogged it with some sand – shot water backwards through it and it worked perfectly again. Used for 2 summers so far and counting.
