FAQs & Troubleshooting
My baby monitor is not working normally or is performing erratically.
1: Confirm proper installation power supply is securely plugged in. You should only use the Simyke power supply provided with your baby monitor. Make sure the electrical outlet is working and not controlled by a wall switch.
2: Make sure the parent unit and baby unit are turned on. Make sure that the blue light on the back of the camera is on.
3: The parent unit may be too far away from the baby unit. Or, other equipment or devices in your house may be affecting the connection between your parent unit and baby unit(s). Try placing the parent unit at least 3 feet away from WiFi devices, including laptops, smartphones, router, tablets and other WiFi streaming devices. Then, try to move your parent unit around (e.g. closer to baby unit or away from Wi-Fi devices) to find better reception. When placing the units closer together; note that they should not be closer than 3 feet apart.
4: Try resetting the parent and baby unit:
Step 1. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and parent unit.
Step 2. Wait approximately 15 secs.
Step 3. Reinstall adapter to the baby and parent unit.
Step 4. Wait one minute for the baby device and parent device to reconnect.
*Noise static and other erratic performance may be caused by nearby
electronic equipment and other cordless devices using the same frequency.
Separate your baby monitor from these devices as much as possible.
Unable to scan QR code to connect to network
First you need to check the following issues:
1) Whether the baby camera is properly plugged in and turned on
2) Whether the baby camera enters the network Pairing mode normally
3) Whether the app side can normally generate the correct QR code screenshot
4) Whether the camera prompts successful code scanning
5) Can not read the QR code prompted what
6）What is the specific tip of not being able to connect to the network
7) Whether the router is a 5G frequency band (currently only supports 2.4G WiFi)
All of the above may lead to the device can not be normal with the network.
If the baby camera can scan the code normally, but can not connect to the network prompts network connection timeout, you need to confirm whether the router is 5G or the phone’s QR code is correct.
If you confirm that you have entered the Pairing mode and keep reminding the code scanning timeout, try restarting the baby camera and re-enter the Pairing mode to scan the code.
The factory default setting of the baby monitor is to enter VOX mode.
When no sound is detected, the display will turn off to enter power saving mode, and when sound is detected, the display will light up to remind you. If you don’t like this default setting you can change it yourself.
Warm Tips
This baby monitors only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi,Does not support 5G Wi-Fi.
If your home WiFi does not 2.4Ghz, please buy with caution.

Great product. Terrible app
This camera works great and the monitor is easy to connect. Has a sleep setting that maintains the battery when baby is asleep and screen activated when noise is heard. Monitor is portable which is a huge plus. Only downside I have found is that the app is horrible. The connection never maintains and honestly app is just not usable. I don’t need the app to have my needs met but if you are looking for a monitor with a functional app that is the only case I would not recommend this product.

UPDATEAPPthe app works well when I’m on the same WiFi network and has a 3 second lag. But once I step out of the house, my app takes forever to load and keeps timing out. Cannot see what’s Happening at home with the app :(Got set up right away! Color screen. I love that the camera can tilt down so much, so can just set it on a dresser top and it’s ready to go! Many other camera won’t told down at a certain angle and forces you to mount the camera on the wall. Easy to use.There’s no zoom ability to use for a larger space. Good for baby but not for crawling toddler

Constantly disconnects daily!
I was excited by this product due to its WiFi capability and the ability to view my baby via app when I’m away from home, but after 2 weeks, I’m beyond frustrated. The monitor/camera has major connectivity issues, usually at night. The camera will disconnect at least once a day, freezing the monitor picture in place. Its scary to wake up to check the monitor and see your child laying in the same position after hours and can’t see him breathing, when he usually moves a lot. Then not being able to reset the camera without disturbing his sleep means I have no way to actually monitor my child. The picture quality is good and the monitor is a bit smaller than my previous monitor, but it has good battery life off the charger. However, the connectivity issue, even off WiFi, is a major turnoff. I do not recommend

Parfait pour surveiller bébé en toute sérénité ! J’utilise ce babyphone vidéo Simyke depuis plusieurs mois maintenant et je suis complètement satisfaite de cet achat. L’écran de 2,8 pouces offre une image très claire et nette qui me permet de voir parfaitement mon petit bout même dans l’obscurité grâce à la vision nocturne automatique. La portée de 300 mètres est impressionnante, je peux me déplacer dans toute la maison et même dans le jardin sans perdre le signal. L’application mobile est très intuitive et me permet de garder un œil sur bébé même quand je ne suis pas à la maison, ce qui est rassurant quand je confie mon enfant aux grands-parents. La fonction audio bidirectionnelle est fantastique car je peux parler à mon bébé pour le rassurer sans avoir à me déplacer dans sa chambre et risquer de le réveiller complètement. Les alertes fonctionnent parfaitement et m’avertissent dès que mon petit se réveille ou pleure. La qualité de construction semble solide et l’installation a été très simple. I bought the camera because it was advertised that the range of monitor is 1000 ft, but when starting using it the signal was very bad even though the monitor was 50 ft from camera. I tried the application also, it doesn’t work properly no video no sound. when sent everything back in new condition for refund they give me 76AED out of 245AED which is the third of the original amount paid.
