Plastic wheels
The bike arrived in many pieces, but was simple enough to assemble. It took my mechanic husband about 10 minutes I would guess. I was disappointed to see the wheels were plastic – I thought they were foam, but I guess I looked at too many options that the listings started to blur together.The actual bike construction, apart from the wheel material, seems to be durable and good quality. My 18 month old daughter has just under a 12″ inseam and can just barely get onto the seat, although she prefers to not use the seat yet to have her feet more firmly on the ground.I hope the plastic wheels last and don’t crack and split apart. I will update over time, as needed.
