Place a vehicle puzzle piece correctly in the puzzle board and listen to it toot, beep or rumble! Eight great sounds and a full-color, matching picture beneath the eight wooden pieces. (TIP: Puzzle has light-activated sensors; for best results, expose the sensor by removing a piece in a brightly lit room, then make the sound play by replacing the piece in the board.) For more than 30 years, Melissa & Doug has created beautifully-designed imagination- and creativity-sparking products that NBC News called “the gold standard in early childhood play.” We design every toy to the highest-quality standards, and to nurture minds and hearts. If your child is not inspired, give us a call and we’ll make it right. Our phone number is on every product!

Great gift for 2 1/2 year old boy
Can’t think of a better present for a 2 1/2 year old boy! I gave this to my grandson for Christmas and it’s been occupying his time ever since. He’s fascinated by it. The colorful pieces, engaging sounds and easy to fit puzzle pieces combine to make this a fun and educational gift choice for a young child.

Melissa and Doug emergency vehicle puzzle
Absolutely love how sturdy and fun this product. The off and on button on the back makes it battery efficient and easy so that my 1.5 year old can turn it on and off when they are playing with it. I love the vibrant puzzle pieces and how they make the realistic sounds of each piece, so kids learn what emergency vehicle sounds like. Melissa and Doug toys are the perfect size for young kids to move around in their own and who are learning ins and outs of puzzles

Somewhat disappointed
This wooden puzzle is made nice although the sound is delayed for each vehicle and a little disappointing.

Sound sensors do not work.
Puzzle is alright – but sound never worked; sensors are a cheap piece of crap. Save your money & don’t buy if you want sound.

My twin granddaughters love these puzzles. A fun and entertaining toy, over the years I’ve purchased numerous Melissa and Doug toys all with the same high quality.
