How can I improve the suction?
The way our Nasal Bulb is held can make a big difference. Place the tail between your index and middle finger and press your thumb on the Narwhal’s chin. Also, make sure the bulb pieces are pressed firmly together and the tip is free of blockages.
Why does the suction feel weak?
Weak suction usually means air is getting in, the tip is blocked, or how it’s held is wrong. Don’t squeeze the Narwhal’s “cheeks”, instead press on the chin. Make sure the bulb is properly assembled and the tip is free of any blockages.
Is the Narwhal easy to clean?
Yes! For the head of the Narwhal: wash with warm soapy water, place it on the top rack of the dishwasher or you can boil it for up to 5 minutes. For the tail: wipe with a 70% alcohol-dampened cloth and keep liquid away from the battery door.
Can I use the Narwhal on newborns?
Yes, our Narwhal Nasal Bulb is safe for newborns and up. The soft silicone tip was designed to clear tiny noses safely and comfortably.
What kind of batteries does the Narwhal use and how do I replace them?
The Narwhal uses two AG13/LR44 button cell batteries. Open the battery door with a screwdriver, replace the batteries with the correct polarity, and close the compartment securely. Keep batteries out of reach of children.

-was a little smaller than the picture makes it seem compared to its packaging-the suction seems good, works the same as a hospital aspirator BUT you can actually open and clean this one-the light feature seems nice. it’s nice that it comes with a battery and you don’t have to worry about finding/buying the right battery-since it’s animal shaped, seems like babies/kids would see it as fun and not be so fussy-i’m excited to use this

This nasal aspirator does the job, but only partially. It’s easy to clean and has a cute design, but I’ve tried other products that remove congestion more effectively. It’s okay for occasional use, but don’t expect it to be the most efficient option out there.
