Medically complex kid
I have a medically complex kid. This has been a game changer. It so far has been very accurate. I use a tagaderm to insure that it stays in place. There is no way a little one can get to the battery, it’s next to impossible for me to open. Has great battery life we’ve used it for several sickness and has only hone done 15% The bluetooth isn’t the strongest so we use a tablet in his room. But it will also send notifications to my phone.

Fantastic, just needs some technical upgrades.
The app could use some work for sure. And if they could extend the distance of connect ability then it would be golden. I actually used this only 11 year old daughter who is undergoing chemotherapy. She started having neutropenic fevers and this was an absolute lifesaver to see when the fevers were spiking because she would go from 98.6 to 103 in about 30 minutes. It has incredibly accurate in comparison to an oral thermometer. Biggest complaint was the constant disconnecting and having to be within about 10 feet to connect. App must also stay open and does not run in the background.

Poor Battery Design Creates Safety Concerns
I purchased this thermometer for infant use and was disappointed by several design choices that are especially important when a product is intended for babies.Battery Type & SafetyThe device uses a coin (quarter-sized) battery, which I only discovered after the battery died shortly after the first use. Coin batteries are widely known to be dangerous if swallowed, and I was surprised to see this type used in a baby product. A USB-rechargeable battery would be a much safer and more practical alternative.Battery LifeThe battery drained almost immediately. For a thermometer that may be needed urgently, this is not reliable or acceptable.Size & HandlingThe unit is roughly the size of an Apple AirTag, making it small enough to raise concerns if it were ever dropped or accessed by a child. Parents should be aware of this when storing or using the product.Overall Experience• Very short battery life• Unsafe battery choice for an infant product• Design does not prioritize long-term usabilityBecause safety and reliability are critical for baby items, I would not recommend this thermometer. Parents looking for infant health products should carefully check battery type and power design before purchasing.

Great idea, poor execution
When I found this I thought it would be perfect, put it on the baby at night when she’s sick so that we don’t have to keep disturbing her to take her temperature. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. The app doesn’t stay connected so the monitoring aspect isn’t there, you can open it to check periodically but it won’t track or alert you like it’s supposed to. You also have to be really close to the baby, it doesn’t work even from the room next to hers. I have to stand outside her door to get it to connect. And then other times it just doesn’t connect at all and we have to completely take it off and put it back in the case to “reboot” it. Which is not possible in the middle of the night while she’s asleep. The app is also full of bugs (and grammatical errors which is just a bad look). It gives an average and maximum temperature for each day but they are completely wrong, so there’s no meaningful data being collected. We’re on day 4 of a persistent fever and it’s been somewhat useful but for the most part just a headache trying to get the thing to work. (And my husband and I are both software engineers and tech savvy, we know how to troubleshoot.) I’d skip it at least until they work out the connectivity kinks.
